Jason Voiovich, Principal
Jason Voiovich is a principal and co-founder of Ecra Creative Group, a brand development agency based in St. Paul, Minnesota. Jason brings specific experience in product management, engineering, entrepreneurship and economic development, as well as groundbreaking communications initiatives.

Professionally, Jason has helped over 85 entrepreneurs, new ventures, and established organizations bring their concepts to market. His clients include organizations of all sizes—from national healthcare providers, to major manufacturers, to top-tier retail, to agribusiness. Recent project expertise includes revolutionary online community development in the consumer-driven healthcare sector and the application of non-linear mathematics principles to the collection, analysis, and management of reputation management data. In each case, Jason brings fresh and non-conventional thinking to old-line problems.

Public and private organizations rely on Jason to use some of the latest research in real-time systems analysis to better collect relevant data from their environment, interpret that data quickly, formulate action plans, and return the resulting data back into an effective feedback loop. He is no stranger to detailed reports and thorny questions—that is the prime reason clients tap his expertise—but his true skills is the distillation of that data into meaningful, understandable, and actionable intelligence.

Jason is an instructor, business case writer, advisor, and academic collaborator with the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire Entrepreneurship Program. He is a frequent speaker on the effect of cultural trends on brand and market development, franchise marketing, business/product naming, new media integration, and visual communication. His collaborative research work on Proctor and Gamble's Olean® (Olestra fat substitute) was presented at the National Convention of the Speech Communication Association (SCA) in New York. His research and writing have appeared in the scholarly journals for the North American Management Society (NAMS), the Business Journal for Entrepreneurs, and business publications UpSize Minnesota Magazine and Twin Cities Business (where he is a regular contributor).

Most regularly, Jason is the author of State of the Brand, a syndicated weekly column reviewing and analyzing current branding topics.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications as well as post-graduate research in applied communications and mathematics. He is in the process of pursuing his Masters and Doctorate degrees at the University of Minnesota.

On a personal note, Jason is a proud husband and father (two boys). He is also a Second Degree Black Belt and Taekwondo Instructor.
